Placid on "[Theme: Twenty Thirteen] Why is the word "English" in my footer"

I think you can solve the issue in this way:

In admin panel go to Editor then open Footer.

At about the end of the codes, look for the word "English" between <?php wp_footer(); ?> and </body>

If you find it there, just delete the word and click "Update File". Then test the front end.
