Was this because of a WordPress upgrade or a theme upgrade? The problem that I see is that the outer-footer DIV seems to be embedded within the green-sidebar DIV instead of coming after it.

Yeah, I'm thinking one of the widgets in the green-sidebar is missing a closing DIV tag, which is why the footer is getting enclosed by the sidebar.
