dd0519 on "[Theme: Twenty Thirteen] Can I move my widgets from the footer to the right or left side?"

I'm curious if with the Twenty Thirteen theme, can I move my widgets from appearing in the footer, to appearing on the right or left side? If so, how can I go about doing that?
