I've gone and lost the space between the top bar (navbar) area and the footer widget area...there was a nice space of about 50px, that revealed the background image and made a really nice slider/parallax effect.
I've searched the css but I can't identify the code that describes this gap. and I have no record of when it disappeared -possibly when I added a logo instead of the site title and description (this has now been changed back anyway)

It seems connected to the footer widgets because there's a strange "jumping" / "glitching" effect, when I scroll down to the footer, which is not always there...and I've checked it on Google Chrome, and there's also a strange block of white vertical text in the footer too!
