harpagonpress on "Remove white space on the bottom of twenty twelve theme"

I'm editing a child of twenty twelve, but, since the comments have been deactivated, an unattractive white space is being left on the bottom of the page. Does anyone know how I can remove this? Something to change in the padding maybe?
