This is more of a personal customization from what it appears and to do what you want with that image to overlap as a background for the content area, the footer, and the outside page background, this would take some major creative HTML work for you to do...it's actually very complex. Long story short, unless you are very good at HTML, or hire a web designer, I don't think you will be able to do this one because of how the theme's structure is setup. You would also have to make sure the responsiveness of the theme is still functional as well (if you still want it to be responsive).
