Hiperreal on "Twenty Twelve footer problem since 3.8"

Hi!

Since the 3.8 update i cant get rid of the "proudly" footer in the homepage. I removed the text of footer.php as i did before the update (I choose not to use child theme) but that only worked in the rest of the blog -not the homepage- , so i tried

.site-info {
display: none;
}

in the style.css.... but still no luck :(

Any ideas?
